FOLLOWING the success of their 2005 tour, Grown Men in Public, Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis have decided to increase their carbon footprint by travelling all over the country, arriving in Ludlow next Friday, May 25, with their new live show, Stuff and Nonsense.
The subject of the tour is Britishness as Punt and Dennis set out to answer fundamental questions about what it means to be British. What are our national obsessions? Who are our heroes? How can we be so nostalgic when we don't know any history? And why are we so good at getting drunk?
The stars of the long-running BBC Radio 4 series, The now Show, and It's Been a Bad Week on BBC Radio 2, Punt and Dennis first found fame as one half of legendary cult sketch show, The Mary Whitehouse Experience. Since then, their reputations as both writers and performers have grown enormously.
Don't miss the chance to catch them live at Ludlow Assembly Rooms. To book, call the box office on 01584 878141.
