A MASTER in marionette manipulation, Anton Anderele delights audiences in many countries and now brings his traditional Easter European marionette show, The Smallest Circus in the World, to Ledbury and Kington.

Many of the puppets Anton uses have been in his family for generations and in this charming entertainment, they perform' a series of amazing and amusing circus routines.

The show is being brought to Herefordshire by Arts Alive.

"We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to see some quality performances from this third generation Slovakian marionette master puppeteer," says Sian Kerry, director of Arts Alive.

"This tour has been made possible thanks to funding from Esmee Fairbairn and the National Rural Touring Forum."

The Smallest Circus in the World can be seen at Ledbury Market Theatre on Sunday at 5pm (for tickets, call 01531 636147) and at The Lady Hawkins Leisure Centre in Kington on Friday, May 25, at 6.30pm.
