It is not known how many intruders were involved, but a witness was able to describe one man as being white, in his late 20s and of slim build. He had a small, narrow face which the witnessed described as being drawn'.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard suspicious activity around the pub building and in particular any unusual vehicle movements in the early hours of Wednesday.
A number of similar burglaries were carried out the same night at public houses in the neighbouring Dyfed-Powys police area and officers believe the Eardisley break-in may be linked to these.
