TWO people were taken to hospital following two separate crashes yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the B4214 at Staplow, near Ledbury, at around 12pm to reports of a crash involving two cars.
One man, believed to be in his 50s, sustained back injuries and was treated at the scene before being transferred to Hereford County Hospital.
A second patient was taken to hospital later that evening at around 8pm after a car overturned and was found in a field off the A4103 at Lugg Bridge.
Police are now also appealing for witness to a head-on crash between a lorry and a car on the A40 near The Lea at around 6.45pm yesterday.
