A BUS has had its side window shattered in one of a number of recent incidents in Clehonger.
The bus was driving along Birchill Road, at the corner of Grosmont Road, just before 10pm on Saturday, May 12, when an object was thrown at the window.
No-one was injured but the bus was withdrawn from service for repairs.
Other incidents in the area have included reports of mopeds being ridden on pavements in the Elm Grove area at around 9.45pm on the same evening.
Wooden fence panels at Clehonger Primary School were smashed at some point over the same weekend, and a fence post and fencing chain were broken off at a house in the village in the early hours of Sunday (May 13).
It is not known if all these incidents are linked.
Anyone with information can contact PC Chris Griffiths at Peterchurch Police Station on 08457 444888.
