A WOMAN has been robbed in a Leominster alleyway.
The victim was walking close to the Blue Note Cafe, in the direction of the Central Car Park, when she heard someone run up behind her.
She was pushed to the floor and the offender then grabbed the woman's handbag from her shoulder and ran away.
He is described as white, aged around 19, between 5ft 11ins and 6ft tall and of skinny build.
He had short, black spiky hair and was wearing blue jeans, a white top under a shiny black tracksuit top and white trainers.
The victim's large dark brown leather handbag contained a wallet, cash and bank cards, a large bunch of keys and other personal effects.
The incident took place at around 11.42am on Monday.
Police are keen to speak to anyone with information about the identity of the offender or who may have witnessed the robbery taking place.
