Herefordshire businesses are being reminded that the deadline for entries for the Chamber Awards 2007 is tomorrow (Friday).
The awards, now in their sixth year and run by the Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire, recognise and reward businesses and individuals from across the two counties. While many businesses are great at what they do, very few of them shout about it and their truly unsung heroes.
The award categories each recognise an important part of business or a sector that is vital in the two counties.
The categories are: l Business of the Year, sponsored by Business Link; l Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by Kingspan Insulation; l Most Promising New Business sponsored by the Rural Regeneration Zone; l Employee of the Year Herefordshire sponsored by the Hereford Times; l Employee of the Year Worcestershire sponsored by Worcester News; lAward for Skills Development sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council; lInnovation through Technology Award sponsored by the Central Technology Belt; l Award for Business Commitment in the Community sponsored by Worcestershire County Council; and finally, l The Excellence in Tourism Award.
It's easy and free for businesses to enter by visiting www.hwchamberawards.com and filling out the entry form.
The winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday, June 21, at Worcester Rugby Club.
