Showing enthusiasts in the Clun Forest Sheep Breeders' society will be meeting in the Craven Arms area on Saturday, June 2, to help members and non-members alike hone up their trimming skills.

The Clun Forest is well known at agricultural shows for its unusual and striking appearance and this has led to several new members joining the society who would like to have a go at showing, but don't know where to start.

The society management team has recently been joined by Davina Stanhope, winner of many championships with her Longwool Cotswolds. She will help promote the Clun Forest and will use her comprehensive knowledge of sheep and showing to help members in any way she can.

These workshops are open to all, more details are available from Davina on 01952 740731.
