A MAN has been arrested in Canon Pyon following the theft of a lorry which contained a Second World War relic.
The flatbed lorry, taken from an address in Cinderford, Gloucestershire between 6.30pm and midnight on Tuesday, May 15, was carrying an 18ft by 8ft Second World War landing craft door which has not been found.
Police would like to hear from anyone with information about the theft of the lorry, which is white with a maroon cab.
They are also asking local companies who deal in the scrap metal business to contact them if they have been offered the landing craft door.
Anyone with information should contact Gloucestershire Police on 0845 090 1234.
