A 14-year-old boy has been punched in the mouth during an assault in Ledbury town centre.

A man approached the boy and spoke briefly to him. He then punched the victim in the mouth, leaving him with a cut lip. The offender then walked off towards Lower Road.

The incident happened between 2.20pm and 2.30pm on Monday, May 28 on the corner of Bye Street close to the recreation ground.

The only description of the man is that he was in his 30s and approximately 5ft 4ins tall.
