TWO separate fires have broken out on the site of a new housing development in Hereford.
Fire crews were called to the former SAS camp at the back of Hoarwithy Road just before 1am today after an area of building debris had caught fire. The blaze was close to several building materials and slight damage was caused to a nearby JCB.
Less than 20 minutes later a second crew from Hereford were called to a blaze on another area of the site following reports of several building materials being alight. Both fires were put out by around 2am. No-one was hurt.
Close to 500 new homes are being built on the site of the former SAS camp at Bradbury Lines.
