Hereford’s Jon Jackson is - like Edith Bowman and Russell Kane - joining Virgin Radio as a presenter
A DJ will be hitting the national airwaves after securing an exclusive slot on Virgin Radio.
Jon Jackson, who grew up in Preston Wynne, starts his new job as a presenter when the station launches on DAB on March 30.
The former student at Bromyard’s Queen Elizabeth School has the Saturday evening slot of 4pm to 7pm and the Sunday afternoon show from 1pm to 4pm.
Jon, 29, was known to many on Hereford’s music scene as a promoter and musician before he moved to London and began working at Magic FM.
