HEREFORD'S Mayor certainly wasn't bored during the Easter holidays.
Cllr Charles Nicholls helped open the summer season at Hereford Board and Bike Park at Court Farm in Tillington and even had a go at mountain-boarding while wearing his mayoral chains.
Matt Brind, the director of ATBA-UK, the national governing body for mountain-boarding, says the venue is perfect for those of all abilities.
"The centre is fantastic for beginners and experts alike with plenty of terrain for all abilities," he said.
"The crew behind Hereford Board and Bike Park have hit the nail on the head by diversifying to include other action sports which should help the centre to grow and will help to nurture the local action sports community."
The park was established in November 2014 and is a purpose-built centre for board and bike lovers to use through the summer months.
