WOULD-BE racing drivers will get a chance to show off their skills this summer at the fourth Richards Castle Soapbox Derby.
Competitors race along the 550 metre course, which has a descent of 50 metres and was won last year with a time of 43.09 seconds. The event on Sunday, July 8 also has a beer tent, vintage tractors and a bouncy castle but is not just about having a fun day out.
Over the last three years £15,000 has been raised for charity, and the organisers are hoping to add to that total by raising funds for this year's three chosen charities - Friends of Ludlow Hospital, Herefordshire Homestart and Teme Talk.
