HEREFORDSHIRE'S role as the host county at this year's Three Counties Show will be enhanced by a royal visit.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have accepted an invitation to attend the event, which is held at the Malvern Showground from June 15 to 17.
Audley Twiston-Davies, the president of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, will guide the royals around the showground during its opening day.
The show is committed to supporting local food producers and the royal itinerary will include a visit to the Food and Wine Fair as well as the Hereford Cattle ring, where the couple can meet members of the Hereford Breed Society.
Among other duties, the royals have been invited to present the Long Service Award medals to various members of the Three Counties Agricultural Society.
The showground is open between 8am and 6pm on each of the three days. For ticket information and prices call 01684 584924 or visit www.threecounties.co.uk/threecounties
