TV star John Challis, better known as Boycie will be opening the famous Kingsland charity walks on Saturday.
He will be accompanied by two wives -- Carol, his real one and Sue Holderness who plays Marlene his fictional wife in their TV show Green Green Grass, Boycie is having a day off from filming at his home in the county to start the Kingsland walks which have already raised £33,000 for the Charles Renton Unit at the County Hospital.
Organised by Lynn Perrott and Emma Strangward the walks, two different lengths, will start at Luctonians Rugby Club at 11am.
The organisers have arranged a whole selection of fun things to do, including a variety of stalls and a bouncy castle.
The day will end with a disco at the rugby club. All proceeds will go to the Macmillan Renton cancer Appeal.
