Kington Show has now reached the 21st century and although a traditional agricultural show for more than 125 years, it is meeting with modern ideas and approaches to farming and technology.
The Kington Show website has been launched and will make life easier for the general public to discover details of the forthcoming show, which is being held on Saturday, September 8.
Livestock, poultry, dog and horticultural exhibitors will also be able to download their schedules and entry forms, together with trade stand and sponsor's details.
All this has been devised by website designers at Severn Internet Services Ltd, based at Church Stretton, with the main intention to construct a user-friendly website.
There are some wonderful pictures from the 2006 show on the photo gallery page and historic pictures and information on the history page.
The website will be able to be updated on a regular basis by the secretary, so if the public have any photos they wish to include in the photo gallery, they can call the secretary on 01544 260602.
