A TRAILER carrying cattle has overturned causing a stretch of the A49 south of Hereford to close this morning.
A 4x4 vehicle was towing the five cattle out of Hereford towards King's Thorn when the accident happened.
Ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene where they transferred the cows to another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was unharmed.
The road was reopened shortly after 9am.
