A FUNDRAISER will walk nearly 30 miles through the South American jungle to raise money for air ambulance.
Terry Griffiths, who lives at Old Radnor near Kington, flies to Peru later this month to embark on the Inca Trail - a 26 mile hike taking in mountains, subtropical jungle and the ancient Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.
Air ambulance was chosen because of Terry's admiration for their quick response to a call involving his father who fell ill last year.
Terry aims to complete the walk in four days and will be accompanied throughout by a guide.
Over £1,000 has already been raised but anyone who wishes to sponsor Terry can do so by calling him on 07977307954.
