FAMILIES who have lost a baby at birth, or soon afterwards are invited to attend a special service in the chapel at Hereford County Hospital.
It is held every year and all are invited, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles.
Up to 60 people attended last year, including a couple whose baby died at the hospital 20 years ago.
This year the service, which is interdenominational, or no faith at all, will be conducted by the Rev. Judy Dinnen, a member of the ministry team at Madley.
The Rev Chris Rhodes, who has been involved with many of the families who have lost a baby and who retired recently as hospital chaplain will also be there.
The service will take the form of celebration and the name of each child will be read out, a candle to be lit at the same time It will take place in the hospital chapel on Tuesday, July 3 at 7-30pm.
