MALVERN'S Three Counties Showground is set to host it's 50th Three Counties Show, and a number of tickets will be available for the same price as its first.

Show organisers the Three Counties Agricultural Society (TCAS) say that according to their records, adult admission in 1958 stood at the princely sum of 15 shillings, equal to around 75p in 2007.

Sharon Gilbert, press officer for TCAS, explained: "2007 is a very special year for us. It is the 210th Three Counties Show and the 50th here at the Showground, so we thought it would be fun to celebrate by offering some admissions at old ticket prices".

On each day of the show 50 tickets costing 75p each will be shared between all the public gates and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
