AN awareness week to get people online will take place this month in Herefordshire.
Get Online Week, from October 17 to 23, aims to help people get started using the internet and computers.
Herefordshire Council and the Fastershire broadband project are offering a series of free training and drop-in sessions with workshops in Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, Leominster, Ledbury and Kington libraries.
Training sessions are also being offered by The Kindle Centre, Saxon Hall and Community Centre, Wye Learn and Herefordshire Housing Group's The Learning Box.
Councillor Harlow, cabinet member for economy and corporate services responsible for the Fastershire project, said: "We hope to make this year’s Get Online Week more successful and we have an excellent set of workshops that will help teach people how to stay safe online, use social media as well as how to send emails, shop and pay bills."
