A TATTOO artist from Hereford will appear on a Channel 5 show where she 'fixes' a bride-to-be's dodgy tattoo.

Amy Scott from The Ink Pad in Commercial Road, Hereford was contacted by producers from the TV show, Tattoo Disasters: UK.

The series showcases some of Britain?s most hated and terrible tattoos.

Miss Scott was asked to fix a tattoo and the film crew came to the studio in Hereford, which her dad, Ian Scott owns.

She said: "They contacted me because they were looking for a specific style of art that the woman wanted to cover her tattoo.

"I was very happy and surprised and more than happy to get involved."

The woman in question had a tattoo abroad and it was supposed to show a rip on her shoulder with leopard print underneath. Miss Scott reworked it into a peony flower.

She said: "She wanted to get it covered before she went down the aisle as she was embarrassed by it."

The 31-year-old has been working with her dad since she was 17.

Miss Scott said: "I love it. I couldn't imagine doing anything else."
