ANYONE trying for a baby might find a new book, co-written by a woman from Ledbury, worthwhile reading.

Jill Anthony-Ackery was invited to help write Fertility & Infertility for Dummies because of her own experiences, particularly of IVF treatment which resulted in the birth of her daughter Connie.

The book gives expert, clear and concise advice to anybody trying for a family.

"Making babies is supposed to be fun and easy but if you're the one in every six couples in the UK having problems conceiving, this is the book for you," said Jill.

Jill joined Dr Gillian Lockwood to provide the guide to understanding fertility and getting pregnant, as well as the emotional, financial and medical impact of assisted conception.

It is available from high street bookshops and on-line book sellers priced £15.99.
