TWO cars and a motorcycle were in collision in Bromyard on Sunday evening.

The accident took place two miles outside Bromyard, near to the junction of Brockhampton School on the A44, at 8.15pm.

It involved a silver MG ZR travelling towards Worcester and a blue Peugeot 405 and black Honda CBR motorcycle heading in the opposite direction.

The 52-year-old male driver of the Peugeot suffered chest and leg injuries and had to be cut free from the vehicle by Bromyard fire crews.

An 18-year-old front seat passenger sustained a cut to the head.

The 52-year-old male motorcycle rider suffered a chest injury, while the 28-year old male MG driver was treated for shock and minor injuries. They were all taken to Hereford County Hospital by ambulance but their injuries were not life-threatening.

The road was completely blocked by the collision and remained closed until around 2am while the vehicles removed and collision investigators began their examination.

Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any of the vehicles travelling along the A44 beforehand.
