The Treacle Mine pub
PLANNING approval has been given to turn the Treacle Mine in Hereford into a Pizza Hut.
The pub in St Martin's Street has been closed since September 2015 and has been empty ever since.
JJR Associates Ltd has now applied to Herefordshire Council to display signs and the drawings show it will be a Pizza Hut.
The design and access statement on the first application said takeaway will be five to 20 percent of the business but the bulk of the business will be personal delivery.
