Officers were called to Canon Pyon Road, near Bush Bank
A MAN has been arrested in connection with the assault of a woman and a police officer.
Police were called to reports of a woman having been assaulted by a man believed to be known to her on Canon Pyon Road, near Bush Bank, at around 9.10pm yesterday.
A 48-year-old man from Leominster has been arrested on suspicion of assault and on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
He remains in custody.
Residents in the village reported a large police presence in the village at the time of the incident
