SAFETY work to the ramps at the skate park in Ross-on-Wye has been approved.
Town councillors approved spending £3,000 to carry out repair work at the popular skate park off Wilton Road.
The work will be carried out in the next week or two.
Cllr Daniel Lister said: "We would like to build a rapport up with the skaters down there and maybe myself as a contact.
"I don't want them to feel they are down there on their own. We are very pro-young people and we want to upgrade it as much as possible."
