A COLLECTION of essays on Edward Elgar has been published to coincide with the 150th anniversary of his birth.
Elgar: An Anniversary Portrait is edited and introduced by Nicholas Kenyon and includes chapters written by Yehudi Menuhin, Christopher Kent and Dame Janet Baker.
As interest in Elgar and his music grows, the book of critical essays uncover the real Elgar, devoid of false illusion and is of interest to all classicalmusic fans, students and Elgar enthusiasts.
