THE winners of the Hereford BID Business Awards 2017 were announced last night at a very special ceremony at the Shire Hall.
There were three finalists in each of the nine categories, who were welcomed at the glitzy awards ceremony.
The winners for each category are listed below. There are also two videos made by Rural Media focusing on the finalists from two of the categories.

- Hotel, Restaurant, Pub or Café of the Year: The Beefy Boys
- The Best Presented Award: Pritchards Menswear
- Putting Hereford On The Map: Hereford Indie Food
- Customer Service Award: Elle Martin Hair Salon (See below for a video of the finalists)
- Employer of the Year: BBR Optometry Ltd
- Employee of the Year: Lucy Shepherd-Davies from Specsavers
- National Retailer of the Year: Wilko Retail Ltd
- Independent Business of the Year: The Kup-cake Kitchen Café (See below for a video of the finalists)
- Outstanding Contribution to the City: Hereford Cathedral
- The Special Recognition Award goes to Hayley Llewellyn from No 10 deli in Church Street
