A 50-YEAR-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a property in Leominster.
Emergency services received reports of smoke coming from the window of an address on Etnam Street at around 2am this morning.
Firefighters from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service attended the property, along with officers from West Mercia Police.
A joint statement said: "On discovering a blaze, fire crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled it with hose reel jets and a covering jet.
"Those inside the inside the building were safely evacuated, and nobody was seriously injured."
