A RANGE Rover crashed into a telegraph pole and then into a garden wall in Hereford this afternoon.
The vehicle knocked the telegraph pole flat in Ledbury Road before going through a garden wall.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12.48pm today (Thursday 22 March) to a report of a collision on Ledbury Road, Hereford involving a Range Rover.
"The ambulance service were also in attendance, a man in his 40s was taken to hospital."
An ambulance spokeswoman said they were called at 12.45pm to reports of a car that had crashed with a lamp post, brick wall and a house.
One ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Service from Strensham and a BASICS doctor was at the scene.
The spokeswoman said: "When crews arrived they found the driver in an agitated state and he was given trauma care on scene before being taken by land ambulance to Hereford County Hospital.
"The crews believe that there was a medical event at the wheel."
