HEREFORD will soon have its first pub dedicated to the sport of kings.
The Stables will open on June 30 in West Street as a horse racing themed pub.
The interiors will feature genuine equestrian memorabilia from some of the sport's most
famous characters, including Grand National winning silks.
Meanwhile, staff are working closely with Wye Valley Brewery and local horse owner Mark Blandford to rename a familiar premium ale in homage to the latter’s racehorse: Plenty of Butty.
The pub, which is currently known as The Stagecoach Inn, is also backing the Injured Jockeys Fund as its nominated charity.
