POLICE officers chased suspects on foot and used a red dot from a taser to arrest two men on suspicion of drug offences.
West Mercia Police officers stopped a car on Panniers Lane, Bromyard, at around 12.05am on Saturday morning.
Two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of being in possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply.
They have since been released on bail.
A Tweet from OPU Herefordshire, the Operations Patrol Unit providing armed/roads policing for the county, said: "Drug runners taken off the road after a foot chase and a red dot from taser. Thousands of pounds of drugs and cash seized and two arrested."
A taser can be used in a number of different ways, many of which involve applying no force on a person. The taser can be pointed at the subject with red dot laser sight active so that red dot appears on the subject.
