HAY and District Dial-a-Ride is a community service transport charity with 300 plus members.
Their service is to provide transport to those who are unable to access public or private transport themselves and need assistance.
They rely on fundraising to help support the charity, and recently held two fundraising events.
They enjoyed a great afternoon tea party at Penymaes thanks to the generosity of host Shan Egerton. This event raised £331.
They also had an evening with the Monday Choir who performed Songs for Holidays in Clifford to a packed hall. They raised £439 through this event.
The service would like to extend their thanks to everyone who came and all supporters.
Hay and District Dial-a-Ride rely on their volunteer drivers. They operate two minibuses, as well as offering a Community Car service where drivers use their own vehicles.
If you have some spare time or are retired, this could be for you. All training will be provided.
