FLOWERS have been left at the scene of a crash on the A40 in which two people died.
A male motorcyclist in his 20s and a male pedestrian in his 30s died in the crash on the A40 near the Symonds Yat services at around 8pm last Thursday.
The motorcyclist has been named locally as Rob Boyd who was thought to be living in Monmouth.
The flowers were left near to the Gulf garage on the A40 southbound past the turning for Whitchurch.
One tribute read: “To Rob. I gonna miss you brother from another mother. Love Grunge. X”
A red Yamaha motorbike was travelling on the A40 when it is understood to have crashed into a pedestrian.
Herefordshire Coroner's Court is due to open an inquest into the two deaths on Wednesday morning.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who saw the crash, was in the area at the time, or has dashcam footage of the collision.
