Two people have been arrested after a teenager was seriously injured in Hereford last night.
Police were called to Addison Court, off Edgar Street, at 10.55pm to reports of a man being stabbed following a row with two men.
The 18-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A scene guard is currently in place on the nearby Moor Walk footpath while officers conduct their enquiries.
Police, who are appealing for witnesses to the attack, said one of the suspects is white, around 5ft 10ins tall, and has a beard.
It is believed he was wearing a grey hoody and grey tracksuit bottoms.
The other suspect is described as white with blue eyes, a long nose and a strong accent.
He is believed to have been wearing a dark blue hoody and jeans.
West Mercia Police said this afternoon that, while enquiries are ongoing, two men have been arrested in connection with this incident and are assisting officers with their investigation.
Inspector Callie-Ann Bradley from West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have any information to please make contact.
"An investigation is currently ongoing and we would ask anyone who was in the area at the time or who can assist with enquiries to please call 101, quoting incident 870s of 19 October 2018."
