A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after a crash with a car on the Ross Road, Hereford.
The accident happened on the A49 near to the Old Ship Inn, just before 4pm on November 1.
Police were called shortly after 3.50pm to reports of a collision between a Honda XL 125 motorcyle and a silver Volvo S80.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival of ambulance staff, the motorcyclist, a man, was found to have suffered multiple serious injuries.
“Following specialist trauma care at the scene, he was carefully moved on to the air ambulance which had landed nearby, before being airlifted to hospital in Bristol for further assessment."
He added: “The car driver was uninjured in the incident.”
One ambulance, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene.
The accident caused delays on all major routes through the city.
Any witnesses to the accident are urged to call police on 101 and quote incident reference number 491s of November 1 2018.
