LEOMINSTER'S Dishley Street Co-op remained closed this morning after police were called to the shop at 1.55am.
Two men wearing masks are understood to have forced entry to the premises and a quantity of cigarettes was taken.
Enquiries are currently ongoing. Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or witnessed people acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
Anyone with information should call West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers (anonymously) on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 25S of November 23.
The store is now open.
