THERE will be 50 Christmas trees on display in a church in Bromyard this weekend.
The Christmas Tree Festival at St Peter’s Parish Church kicks off the advent period.
This year there will be two full concerts - on December 1 The Hereford Rail Male Voice Choir will sing a selection of seasonal songs at 7pm. Entrance by donation.
While on December 2 the Volante Strings ensemble will play a selection of classical festive favourites at 3pm. Tickets are £10; available from Food For All, Megan Webb on: 01299 896771 and Charles Dods on: 07969 525430.
The festival weekend begins at 4.15pm on November 30 with musical performances from three schools in the area and a drama group.
The evening will finish at 8pm with a performance from The Conquest Youth Theatre.
On Saturday the church is open for viewing from 9.30am until 7pm and 12pm to 3pm on Sunday.
