HEREFORD Lions Club has helped Father Christmas tour the city streets and surrounding villages in the weeks before Christmas Day for over 50 years and the club’s Santa Sleigh will be maintaining the tradition every evening up to Saturday, December 22.
By then thousands of children will have met Santa and told him what is on their Christmas present wish-list.
"Many of them will be with their grandmothers who remember when they, too rushed out as children to welcome Santa to their street," said club spokesman George Thomas.
