A FAMILY was shocked to discover that a roadside tribute dedicated to a teenager was damaged overnight.
Flowers, candles and various personal items had been left in Old School Lane in Hereford to remember Stamford Griffin.
Stamford died in July, aged 17, after he collapsed on the railway bridge during the early hours.
This morning his family were saddened to discover that flowers had been removed from the tribute and strewn across the road.
His family said Stamford's nieces and nephews visit the tribute to remember their uncle.
The family said they have permission for the flowers to be by the roadside.
