Changes are coming to the Post Office service in the west of the county
THE Post Office is looking to improve and expand its services in Whitney on Wye by relocating to a permanent home.
Under the plans, the part time mobile outreach service currently provided by Kington Post Office will come to an end on January 9, to be replaced by a full time service operating from January 14 at its new branch inside Carrot and Wine Stores, Church Barn, Whitney on Wye.
The new branch will be open from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, offering a wide range of Post Office and banking services.
The period of public consultation will close on January 18, customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 706618.
