A GOOD neighbour scheme has been set up in the village of Sellack.
Secretary Carole Ajinkya set up the scheme earlier last year - volunteers offer help with shopping, transport, pets, befriending and small household tasks.
Carole said: "Some of our clients are housebound and we recognise that loneliness affects physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing."
The scheme had support from Sellack Parish Council, the Village Hall Committee, St Tysilio’s Church, Police Mutual Insurance, Hereford Round Table, Bulmers Fund and Pastorprint.
A Lunch Bunch Club runs on the first Thursday of every month at Sellack Village Hall from 12pm. It's £6 for two courses.
Booking is essential - call Carole on 07471 073596 for more information on the club and the scheme.
