THE young boy who was rescued from the River Wye in Hereford last week is expected to make a full recovery.
Police said today that the four-year-old has 'almost returned to full health' and high-fived the consultant.
The boy, named by the police as George, went missing from his home on Goodwin Way in Lower Bullingham on the morning of March 28.
Fire crews joined paramedics and police officers in the search before the boy was found a short distance from his home in the river.
He was then rushed to hospital.
The Hereford Cops Facebook page said today confirmed the good news and thanked all the emergency services involved in the rescue.
