A FAIR with a difference promises a weekend of eco-friendly activities this early May bank holiday weekend.
First established in 2008, the 2019 Spring Greens Fair will be held from 10am to 5pm on May 4 and 5 at Court of Noke in Pembridge.
This year's theme 'Something In The Air' will explore topics surrounding our impact on the atmosphere and the flora and fauna we share it with.
A range of speakers including Jo Fidgeon of BBC Outlook and New Year Solutions, local members of climate campaign group Extinction Rebellion, medical herbalist Rowan McOnegal will present and host discussions on everything from the effects of air travel to dragonflies, ancient Agnihotra purification rituals and modern herbal medicines.
Creative works made by local primary school children in special schools days hosted at Court of Noke during the week before the fair will be on display.
There will also be a range of exhibitions and stalls offering local foods, music, poetry and arts and crafts activities and demonstrations including blacksmithing and woodworking.
Entry is free, but a parking fee of £5 per vehicle applies.
