A HEREFORD pub has topped the £10,000 mark as they continue raising money for newborns who need more care than usual.
The Vaga Tavern in Hunderton held their annual charity fun day in aid of the special care baby unit at Hereford County Hospital, including a 10k run around the city on Sunday, May 26.
More than £1,600 was raised on the day that included a performance from Body Language School of Dance and the band Sons of Pluto, as well as a tombola and bingo.
Landlady Becky Clyde said more than £10,000 has been raised since she started running the pub in November 2012.
Rob Dobbs completed the 10k cycle the quickest in just over 29 minutes, with Corey Jones fastest on foot in 42 minutes.
