WORKERS at Hereford factory Special Metals Wiggin will vote on whether to strike over pay and working conditions in the next two months.
The GMB trade union will ballot its members at Wiggins, reportedly 95% of the 400 employees of the American-owned company.
A spokesperson for the union said: "We will be balloting for industrial action within the next two months.
"Discussions have broken down so we will be starting to put the wheels in motion. The company wishes to introduce unreasonable shift patterns, they want mandatory weekend work."
