THREE people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A44 near Bromyard.
A fire service spokesperson said crews from Bromyard and Leominster were called to the scene of the two-vehicle crash just before 5pm on Sunday.
Police and paramedics were also there.
A quantity of oil was spilled on the road, and firefighters worked using specialist environmental equipment to prevent oil from entering a nearby drain.
The road was closed between Green Lane and the B4214 and police were on scene directing traffic.
There were long delays in the area, and drivers were advised to find alternative routes.
The road re-opened by 10pm last night, and West Midlands Ambulance Service said they took two people to Hereford County Hospital.
