TRAIN enthusiasts won't get the chance to see a steam locomotive at Hereford railway station today as the trip has been cancelled.
No. 34046 Braunton was scheduled to be in Hereford, thought to be departing at 12.15pm, as it travelled from Bristol to Crewe.
But tour operator Saphos Trains said after a successful series of tours, Braunton was due to head home today but the trip has now been cancelled. It will be rearranged for another day this week.
Part of Southern Railway's West Country Class, Braunton was built in 1946 as a powerful light weight locomotive to haul passenger trains from London to the West Country.
